The 14 housemates are aiming for gold in their first week in Kuya’s house! Despite the fact that they still barely know each other, the 14 celebrities are full of optimism that they can work as a team and succeed in facing their first weekly challenge. They have decided to bet 100% of their weekly budget for the "Gusto Kong Mag-swimming" Challenge.

For this week’s task, the housemates are required to fill the pool with 6,500 gallons of water. Before Big Brother let the housemate start the task, the pool was only half-filled. They have until Friday to complete the task. What makes the task difficult is the rule that requires the housemates to work 24 hours. In the instruction given by Big Brother, the housemates must assign at least two to three persons to work during night time. "Kahit sa oras ng pagtulog, kinakailangan may nag-iigib ng tubig, iniuutos ko rin na hindi maaaring iisa ang nag-iigib, kailangang dalawa o higit pa ang nagtutulong-tulong sa lahat ng oras," Big Brother stated in the instructions that he gave to the housemates.



100% Debate

Before agreeing to bet 100% of their weekly budget, it took some time for the housemates to reach a decision regarding the matter. At first, some of the housemates were hesitant to bet the whole amount of their budget. Roxane said she's not sure that all of the housemates would actively participate in the task. "Even if 100% ang gusto ng majority, kung hindi naman magbibigay ng 100% ang lahat, hindi natin ma-a-attain ang 100%"

Rustom, on the other hand, strongly encouraged the group to go for 100%. "We're trying to push ourselves para alam nating kung hanggang saan tayo next time." He explained.

In the end, after a long debate, the housemates agreed to bet 100% on the premise that everybody would actively participate in finishing their work for the week. The housemates even created a cheer to further boost team spirit. Mang Rudy, the eldest among the 14 housemates, asserted that cooperation would be the key for them to succeed in the task. "If we will not cooperate kahit ilan pa ang pupusta ninyo bale wala rin."

Only on the first day of the task, the housemates already showed that although they are 14 individuals with unique and complex personalities, they would still be able to work as a team. All of them worked hand in hand in doing the task. Most of them also stayed awake last night to fill the pool with water.


Another "first"

Aside from experiencing how to go about a weekly task in Kuya's house, the housemates also experienced, for the first time, how it feels to confess to Kuya their feelings and sentiments. Surprisingly, three celebrities already shed tears in their first confessions. They were divang kolehiyala Roxan, Kilabot ng Senado Keanna and Wildflower of Cebu Angela.
